The Fairytale Forest in Hinterglemm is a special experience for the little ones, next to the sports centre. There are many fairy tale characters carved of wood and lovingly displayed.
On the Kohlmais Mountain in Saalbach, the clown Montelino awaits on his adventure trail, and asks the kids to help him in the search for his toys and friends. You have to solve many puzzles to make all of the missing things appear.
Just above the Panorama Alm hut, there is a game park where you can watch the live deer. Daily at 10:30 a.m. Montelino’s Game Feed takes place. Additional play stations and an extra-large deer you can go in provide even more fun!
In Hinterglemm and on the Reiterkogel, the sneaky goblin Kodok plays his tricks. Some time ago, he stole the magic hat from the clown and hid it. Only the kids can find the magic hat through many adventures and bring peace to “Kodok Mountain”. Unfortunately, the goblin has spread his magic through magic crystals so as no to loose them. So the kids have to find all of the magic crystals on the Kodok Expedition using a treasure map or a GPS device to finally put an end to the evil Kodok.
If you'd like a bit of a cool-down on hot summer days, you should visit Schnitza's Wood Park at the end of the valley of Saalbach-Hinterglemm. From competitive milking on “Resl”, the wooden cow, to goldfishing in the gemstone pond or fun wood games, there is so much to do here!
