Berg Kodok – Mount Kodok mountain play stations
Montelino the clown is the “kind soul” of the mountain who ensures happiness, good fortune and good weather with his special magical hat. However, sinister Kobold Kodok has stolen the clown’s hat and hidden it in a secret place. Kids now have to be very brave and solve the ten riddles to crack the code to the secret magic word which will make Kobold return the hat.
Wanderlehrpfad (nature trail) in the head of the valley
The start of the Wanderlehrpfad (nature trail) is a ten-minute walk from the Lindlingalm via the head of the valley hiking trail. Walk along the nature trail and you will find instructions on various exercises and information on mountain flowers and plants. Useful information on the risks, necessary equipment/clothing and food and drink, safe conduct and the environment of the mountains is also provided at the start and end of the trail. The nature trail is also part of the Kids’ Hiking Challenge.

Märchenwald (Fairytale Forest)
All children will know the famous fairytale Mother Hulda collected by Brothers Grimm and Little Red Riding Hood … In the enchanting Fairytale Forest, children can imagine they are part of these famous fairytales and enjoy a truly magical time whilst adults might well end up recalling their own childhood memories. The entrance to the Fairytale Forest, which is accessible 24/7, is located directly in front of the sports centre in Hinterglemm.
Twice as much water fun!
The "Erlebnisbad Käpt'n Hook" (Capt. Hook Adventure Pool) in Saalbach offers a waterslide, white water canal, massage water jets and water shoot across an area of 1,000 m² – guaranteed fun for young and old alike!

Hochseilpark (High Rope Park)
Austria’s biggest high rope park is situated in Saalbach Hinterglemm’s valley head. The park incorporates several courses of various heights ranging from 3 to 40 metres and offers a great test of bravery and skill as well as many fun tasks, unusual views and, above all, plenty of enjoyment! At various elements and stops, visitors can climb, balance, slide and swing across different rope and bridge constructions.
The latest attraction offers three huge ziplines with a total length of 2 km allowing you to glide across the valley head at 70 km/hr at a height of 100 m – you will feel as though you are flying through the air! Safety comes first in the High Rope Park and all visitors are permanently on a lifeline and are doubly secured. The High Rope Park is also a JOKER CARD bonus partner.
Baumzipfelweg (Tree Top Trail) & Golden Gate Bridge of the Alps
With the longest pedestrian suspension bridge in the Alps, the Saalbach Hinterglemm High Rope Park sets totally new standards!
The Baumzipfelweg (Tree Top Trail) is the highest tree top hiking trail in Europe. Together with the Golden Gate Bridge of the Alps, this combination of a 1 km long circular trail through tree tops and a 200 m long suspension bridge at a height of 40 metres forms an attraction which is unique worldwide.
The massive larchwood construction with stairs, towers, bridges and platforms has created several stunning viewing points which will impress young and old as well as nature lovers and school groups. The Saalbach Hinterglemm valley head does, after all, offer a breath-taking setting for this!
Schnitza's Holzpark (Wooden Toy Park) & Teufelswasser (Water World Park)
There is so much you can do with wood and nowhere else can this be seen better than in Schnitza's Holzpark (Wooden Toy Park) where kids can play and build with wood and see the many great things that can be done with it! Here in the valley head you can also enjoy a fun time with water on your summer holiday – in the Teufelswasser (Water World Park) visitors can experience and play with the watery element with all the senses!
