Our family-run 4-star hotel Der Gollinger is located right in the charming centre of Hinterglemm and offers the perfect starting point for a variety of activities – both in summer and winter.

In winter, you’ll enjoy true ski-in & ski-out convenience: the entrance to the Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn is located directly behind the hotel – allowing you to hit the slopes without any detours.

In summer, numerous hiking and biking trails begin just outside the front door.

Shops, restaurants, ski schools and rental services are all within a few minutes’ walk. Thanks to the central location, public transport and bus stops are also just a short stroll away.

Your journey to Saalbach Hinterglemm

By car:
From the south via the Tauern Motorway (A10):
Exit Bischofshofen – Schwarzach – Zell am See – Maishofen – Saalbach Hinterglemm

From Munich (no toll road in Germany):
Exit Siegsdorf – Lofer – Saalfelden – Maishofen – Saalbach Hinterglemm

From Upper Austria, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia & Hungary:
West Motorway (A1) Vienna – Salzburg – Exit Wals-Lofer – Bad Reichenhall – Lofer – Saalfelden – Maishofen – Saalbach Hinterglemm

In Saalbach Hinterglemm:
Take the Hinterglemm West exit – after approx. 100 m you will find Der Gollinger on the right-hand side.

By train:
Nearest railway stations: Zell am See or Saalfelden
From there, continue by public bus or taxi directly to Hinterglemm.
Upon request, we are happy to organise a shuttle service from the train station (for a fee).

By bus:
Nearest bus stop: Hinterglemm Zwölferkogel – only approx. 150 m from the hotel.

By plane:
Nearest airport: Salzburg – approx. 90 km away
We are happy to assist with transfer arrangements to Saalbach Hinterglemm.

Guest Mobility Ticket:
With the new Guest Mobility Ticket, all overnight guests can use public transportation throughout the Salzburg region for the entire duration of their stay. If you would like to use the ticket already for your journey to us, please contact reception in advance.
